How Can I Get a Favorable Permanent Disability Rating?

Permanent disability (“PD”) compensation is monetary payments made to the injured worker if he or she does not fully recover from the work injury and there is a loss of function that a doctor can measure or quantify.

PD benefits are based on a permanent disability opinion which is given by the doctor treating you for the work injury and/or a neutral doctor (Qualified Medical Examiner “QME” or Agreed Medical Examiner “AME”).

Choosing the right doctor is incredibly important to obtaining a fair permanent disability opinion.  We work hard to obtain a permanent disability opinion that accurately reflects your level of impairment by communicating with doctors opining on your case. We also don’t back down from litigating this issue before a judge if justice so requires.
